About Jim Raglan
Jim Raglan has over 30 years experience working in criminal law. He began his career with the Toronto Police Service working as a front line officer and Detective on numerous squads and special projects.
Jim left policing to pursue his own business, becoming an owner in a popular restaurant franchise. For three years he served on the franchise's advertising committee responsible for the marketing of over 100 restaurants across the country.
Jim returned to his passion for criminal law when he began working for an animation company that reconstructed car accidents and criminal scenes for cases before the courts.
For the past eight years, Jim has focused his vast court and criminal knowledge in the paralegal industry. He obtained his paralegal license in 2008 from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
In September 2008, Jim was one of four owners who acquired X-COPPER Legal Services Professional Corporation (X-COPPER), one of Canada's most recognized paralegal firms. He brings his extensive expertise to X-COPPER's Criminal Offences Division.
Jim has attended several professional development courses throughout his career through Humber College, Ontario Police College, Toronto Police College, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
