premises and simulate actual MTO audit conditions
This is a great way to ensure that you are up-to-date with your records before it's too late – giving you time to correct, train and avoid a visit from the Ministry of Transportation.
Our mock audits consist of an assessment of your records, processes and programs with the aim of placing your company in a position to request a facility audit from the MTO. We identify trends within your fleet that you have the power to correct. The information gathered from your audit will allow you to make any necessary adjustments so you can be compliant with the rules and regulations under the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Once finalized, we are confident that you will at least achieve a satisfactory (and quite possibly an excellent) carrier safety rating.
Our mock audit preparation service is comprised of the following elements:
- A risk assessment involving the elements known to contribute to collisions
- Review of driver qualifications and reporting process
- Hours of service
- Vehicle maintenance
Your carrier safety rating is not to be taken lightly. It is available to the public and provides information about your performance. Insurance companies, financial institutions, and shippers can all access your carrier safety rating which, in turn, helps them make informed decisions. Carriers with a good safety rating have little difficulty promoting their services to potential customers.
